All Roads Lead Back To John 3:16

image

Headed down to Funan today to get my wide angle lens and John 3:16. John 3:16 has probably one of the most helpful, honest and knowledgeable service around when it comes to all things photography. Even after the usual scouting around, I usually find myself back at John 3:16, making a purchase without doubts. Left the shop with a 10-22mm wide angle lens which I will primarily use for architectural shots for work. So far so good!

A stop at Challenger also at Funan tempted me to buy a camera bag. I found this one from Vanguard pretty awesome with its different compartments and ease to grab and keep my camera while I’m on the go. It’ll especially come in handy during my upcoming trips.

Style Magazine March 2011

image

In Jan, I headed down to Mediacorp Studios for a feature Style mag was working on. I grabbed a copy a few days back after finding out it was already out in stands by Venetia. Probably the most colours you would see on me at any one time… hee hee! Overall a great shoot meeting some pretty nice people.

Just Another Two More

image

During a trip to town early this week, I made a stopover at one of my favourite ring shops to check out the new stock. I ended up buying an armour ring and a blinged out tiger ring. This is my second armour ring thus far. I liked the idea of this one opening up into a three-finger knuckle ring. Its become a tendency to switch styles throughout the day with this one.

I was eyeing this tiger ring since my last visit and finally decided to purchase it this time around. The funny thing is, a day or two after buying this one, I noticed that I had an almost exact silver version from F21 displayed in my glass jewelry cabinet which I totally forgot about. Oh wells, what’s one more?

In My Land Of Oz...

This pair would be my Ruby Slippers! By chance I stumbled upon them while shopping at Bugis (thanks to my mum). It was my size, last pair and yum, yum, yum! It was only right that I leave that shop with them and now they are my latest sole sistas to join my overly crowded shoe shelves, which I’m itching to revamp to house more.

The New Additions

From one of my favourite accessories shop I’ve discovered, its only mandatory to leave with at least one or in this case four! I went there with one purpose - to get a replacement for the key ring I so foolishly fiddled till it broke. Unfortunately it was sold out, leaving me empty handed in a shop full of rings and things. The lady just messaged to me about the new stocks that have come in, I can’t wait to check them out! Till then I have these lil beauties on hand.

Nailed It

In total love with Shatter by OPI. I love how it simply cracks before your very eyes as it dries revealing the coat of colour underneath. Simply artistic! Already have my eye on my next nail lacquer target.

Finally after wearing out my LA Colors Metallic Silver + Shatter nails I switched nail colour to my latest edition from the OPI Katy Perry Collection. A lil base colour boost from LA Colours Disco Brites Deejay did the trick to give that rich blue. It does defeat the purpose, but the rather translucent blue from Last Friday Night would just not do. I might just shatter it for the extra umph to welcome the weekend.

Crosses & Chains

A short time at Forever 21 at 313@Somerset just for a pop by got me leaving with 3 chunky necklaces. It looks like its all crosses there with all sorts cascading from holder to holder. I like the idea I can wear them all at once (though it can be a little heavy on the neck after awhile).

I finally decided to buy a bottle of OPI Last Friday Night when I came across it at NEX. It only costs me about $16! Shatter was selling for $18 (and I paid $22 at Bedok! Bleah!). I loved the colour though after a little test, its base colour isn’t as vivid. I’ll probably be getting a blue nail polish for the first coat to get the blue bottle effect.
